We had a bonus of having a small... read more It doesn't look like much on the outside, but inside you will find a friendly, cozy, family run restaurant with excellent food. We had a bonus of having a small, friendly dog greet us at the front door. It must have belonged to someone on the staff it left after awhile. The other diners were locals, and also said hi as we came in. Great food (we both had duck), and good wine, too. It was our best meal in Metz, and we would definitely return.

Located in an impasse, so not on a strip of restaurants. It does not look as good from the outside, as it actually is. One thing, dont go for the wine (we tried two white ones, awefull). Beers were great though! They really now how to grill their meat. Yummi!! Staff is superfriendly.

The young waiter (we assumed a family member) welcomed us with a friendly smile and the owner had a natural warmth about her; we felt immediately at home. Most of the other diners were locals and clearly regulars. The menu is limited, but everything we had was gorgeous, and the Charlotte au Chocolat at the end was to die for. The portions were generous and the price reasonable. We came here twice during our week in Metz and if we had discovered the Coco Grill earlier we would have come more often and eaten our way through the menu. It was a great find: simple, good and friendly. Highly recommended!
