Was Lívia Salgado at Red Sun a mag?
I've been there a few times already with my family and some of my friends. There is so much variety of food for every taste. I particularly enjoy the grilled meat and the House cocktail Red Sun. My youngest loves it there so much that...he wanted to spend his birthday there. The restaurant is very family friendly. Make sure to make reservations, because they always fully booked. The service is top View all feedback.
What Terrill Douglas dislikes about Red Sun:
Buffet auf unterem Niveau. Was will man für 14.90€ auch grossartig erwaretn ?Grosses Buffet in dem alle rummatschen. Fleischstückchen werden gebraten und an den Tisch geliefert. View all feedback.
I liked this extensive buffet for all, but where there is still a potential to expand. I'd like to come back.
Quite cheap nice staff for all what you like to eat asian. recommend the Mongolian buffet! and make sure you don't get more often!
I felt bad. I/we had to go to the Chinese again because other people find it good. Worse yet, to all you can eat Chinese. No, that's not my world. Hasimausi can still find out, I can't. I already knew this mass operation in Solingen (Yellow River), but I learned that this one just sailed into the Chinese Pleite a few weeks ago. Finish and over in Solingen. So there is no deep cooling leak China Food that is heated by unskilled 400, Euro forces. I felt confirmed by the insolvency. But our acquaintances already had an alternative to the Red Sun in Mettmann. I only remembered Samba in Mettmann. What about Chinese and Samba? To Mettmann to Red Sun. The first impression: Modern, almost chic, at least for a Chinese. You will be spared from the Chinese Bling Bling Kram and the commonly used Chinese accessories that recall the design of a 1, euro shop. Ordinary seating with high-rest, acceptable. Second impression: A very friendly Asian greeted us. The athletic parade example of a Mongolian, as fresh from the Kung Fu cinema film. Third impression: He articulates inexorably a Rhenish dialect: All jut? The trained gastronomic superstar leads us to a table: All jut? We looked around. The restaurant was about 50% filled, with 100 or more guests. Since there were many niches and sepiarees (no indecent, the volume was completely acceptable. We had just looked around, a waiter appeared at the table and asked for the drinks. He took them, transmitted them electronically and shortly afterwards the drinks were served. Very neatly tapped and cooled beers. No one had ordered wine, because drinking wine at the Chinese is known to be part of the department of mute samples. My dear Hasimausi then told me to explore the all you can eat buffet first. I first reached the running Sushi Station. There, both running sushi and stationary sushi were offered. It followed the Asian and then the Mongolian buffet to me raw products. Everything worked very well, the cool buffets were additionally equipped with crash ice cream. An employee controlled the buffets and obviously gave the kitchen via headset the instruction of what needs to be prepared. Everything went perfectionist, disciplined and ordered. The otherwise at all you can eat Chinese usual audience plate full of everything that suits it was not represented here. I don't know. But no matter, it seemed positive. The selection was large, including desserts. Where it will always remain a mystery for me, as our friends from the middle of the empire can calculate everything for round 17, euros. Free from the principles of German gastronomy, this would correspond to a merchandise use of around 5, Euro a guest, as it is known that the local restaurant operators calculate with a factor of 3.5 from the use of goods. But maybe Chinese people are counting differently. All right. I had seen everything and first consumed sushi with some salad as an appetizer. Something Hoso Maki, Futo Maki and Nigri. No revelation, no rapture. Rather, a normal but neat convenience quality. You can't expect more. No criticism! At the main courts I remained faithful to my line. So raw products from the Mongolian buffet. Something salmon, shrimps, one or the other from the world of seafood, vegetables. Some exotic meats are not my world. However, it was also offered horse meat. Bäh will now scream up some readers. Now you must not forget that here in the Solingen area, Mettmann, Düsseldorf, the meat from the horse is still a delicacy for some eaters. I'm not part of it. Horse riding is fun, but on the plate ? Never! So I had given my salmon shrimps Gambas vegetables plate to the chef at Teppanyaki Grill, including a garlic sauce. After about 10 to 15 minutes, the plate was served. Vegetables very crisp, salmon and other seafood (Gambas/Garnels of good quality and really well prepared. Yes I was positively surprised again. I had not yet been served in an all you can eat temple. Of course not a culinary delight, but please, you must not expect it for 17, euro also Hasimausi and our acquaintances saw it similar. No one could complain about a mistake. We kept all away from any panned fish and similar preparations tailored to the German palate. In other words, the fruits of the sea and the salmon convinced. The same was true for beef. Only the slightly tough meat from the lamb did Hasimausi not cut off the stool. Maybe the poor animal has traveled over the Silk Road on foot. But everything else was of good quality. No need to mock. What happened was the desserbuffet. Ice, chocolate fountains and fruit spits, all as normal. But bee engraving and Tiramisu at the Chinese? If you can copy mobile phones and machines, the copy of bee engraving and Tiramisu is probably Peanuts. I kept myself from these sweet plagiarisms, not our acquaintances. Instead, I tried a Chinese liquor (53%). He almost pulled my shoes off. Hasimausi drank a herbal spirit from China. Their reaction was a mix of snap breathing and a chili allergy. Service. Here's a real compliment. Nice, fleety and in parts well-styled young men. Always present and always immediately at the table when a used plate should be stored or a glass was once again empty. Attention almost in perfection. This is not supposed to be the outbreak of a hymn of praise, but it is already much positive to some sleepy hats that are still experienced in the gastronomy. And whoever has a particularly hurry, there is a call button on the table for the service. Well, the Chinese. In 20 years, there is probably no longer a service person on request, but a robot that kindly asks: Another bee(r l my he(r l ? Conclusion The award of stars results from the expectations and the experienced gastronomic overall impression. I didn't expect much. Not at all you can eat Chinese. I was positively surprised. Similar China food companies, which we have not yet voluntarily visited, were worse. The (clearing-off service was also much more lame there. Here everything was true when considering the reasonable price. The cleanliness, that ambience, the PLV everything untiring.
There was a huge selection of food and drinks, it was absolutely delicious! Something for everyone, really great.
We went here for lunch with a very good friend and were unfortunately very disappointed. The food was only lukewarm in the containers. By the time we arrived at the table and were about to start eating, it was already cold. The taste was also underwhelming – rather average. There was no real service: you get your own drinks and food, and a young woman was simply walking around collecting the dishes. We pointed out to her that the food was cold, but she apparently only understood the word cold and then tried to turn on the heater next to our table. Our comment was apparently ignored, because the food remained lukewarm. Unfortunately, you have to give at least one star to leave a review – in our opinion, even that wouldn 't be justified.
