Once upon a time, the Mettmanner Hof was a pleasant place with friendly owners and delicious food. However, since the change of ownership, the whole experience has turned into an absolute disaster. The food is almost unbearable and seems as if it was just being warmed up and carelessly slapped onto the plate. When I ordered the bifteki it was still raw inside and inedible. But that was only the beginning of my horrific experience. The service was incredibly poor and the wait for the food was endless. When I asked for better service I only got aggressive answers from the boss himself. It seemed like he didn't give a damn about customer satisfaction. His wife, who acted as a waitress, was the epitome of unprofessionalism. She seemed disinterested and unable to take the simplest of orders. The absolute low point was reached when the waitress accidentally spilled beer in my expensive designer bag and completely ruined my jacket. Instead of apologizing or offering some form of compensation, they showed no understanding and even denied any responsibility. The behavior of the staff bordered on asociality. I can only advise everyone against visiting this restaurant. It's a disappointing and unpleasant experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
