Das Lokal heisst jetzt "Der Grieche im Eidamshaus".Warum extra in die Ferne schweifen? Auch Mettmann hat ein gutes Griechisches Restaurant.Dieses Restaurant liegt in einem reinen Wohngebiet und hat für die wärmere Jahreszeit einen schönen mit Efeu berankten Biergarten.Sonntags Mittag haben wir hier gegessen und es war sehr gut. Wir bestellten 2 mal den Thessaloniki Teller (12,90 €) Dieser enthielt knusprig gebratenen Gyros und ein Schweinerückensteak, Pommes und Tzaziki. Dazu ein Beilagensalat, und alles schmeckte ganz köstlich.Zum Abschluss der eiskalte Ouso aufs Haus machte das Essen perfekt. Wir kommen wieder....

We ordered 2 times the Thessaloniki plate (12.90 €), which contained crispy browned gros, 1 pig steak and pommes, tzaziki and a salad plate. In the end, an ice-cold Ouso made the food perfect. The food arrived at the same time for us and tasted great. The portions were large and the price was reasonable (around €80 for 3 people with a starter). We will come back.
