It was my boss's last day at work and he decided to treat the whole team to a buffet dinner after work that was really nice of him. I swear he's the best boss I've ever had!
The place was a step fancier than any Yakimix outlet I've been to. But I think imagination doesn't impress me as I wasn't very comfortable.
The choice of food was very limited and not all was available. Drinks were included which was good and... View all feedback.
What Lonnie Bahringer doesn't like about Yakimix Prime:
The choice of food is not exciting, the quality of the food is okay. I don't feel that special here. I see the same food all the time. Cooks / staff are not too friendly. Not that bad yet. View all feedback.
The food here is generally the same as all the other Yakimix buffet. The sushis are very delicious and fresh. The takoyaki and the ebiyaki I didn't like because it had a texture that I did not like. The noodles are just ordinary so I do not order it much. The meat for cooking are very good. I like that there are many flavor options and seafood as well as vegetable options too. Their side dishes are just ordinary but I personally liked their wasabi potato salad as it had a kick to it. Their lechon kawali was also very good! As for their desserts, it was also ordinary. The servers and waiters were very accommodating. I had my phone lying around the table and one of them guarded it until I came back (which then I was instructed to care for my items). They were nice when we asked them to start/lower/off the grill. My main problem was their cleanliness. I was one one of the first people in the restaurant and the first to get sushi/sashimi and when I got to reach for a sauce platter/bowl I saw that one of them still had wasabi in it. A lot of them had the soy sauce stain still in them. So it was my 4th try I got an acceptable cleanliness of a bowl to put my sauce. I hope they cleaned it better, especially since they have a break in between meals to cook and for preparation of the restaurant. I hope they fox this next time. I will keep coming back here because they have good food and their setting is a bit fancier than other restaurants but this is due to the city they are in.

A dinner night out with friends from our office, turned out to be a night out of fun. The buffet had a variety of food, not quite as much a I expected, a little less than I would normally say from the usual buffet but they had a all types of viands. The fun part is grilling your proteins in front of you, as well as the option to choose food that is ready to eat. Different types of cuisine to choose from; rice, pasta, fruits, salads, soups, sushi, dessert, and beverages as well, from plain ice water to sodas, juices, to beer! If your celebrating your birthday with them, they'll sing you a song and give a slice of cake to blow your candle. The service was average, and the food refills are a bit slow, I just wished the air conditioning was a tad stronger. Over all is was a feast most affordable for everyone.
It wasn't good as it was before... Yakimix has been my staple buffet restaurant whenever I crave for some. I liked the Prime branch due to its wider selection of dishes. However, the selections get fewer through time. I visited their branch again recently. They didn't have the asparagus or mushroom rolled in beef. The fresh shrimps take time to be refilled. The sushi and rolls section is still good. The salmon sashimi is fresh but not properly cut. The tako is disappointing. The dessert section is a blunder! They only had the Red Ribbon choco cake, buko pandan, some other unappealing pudding and leche flan which is so hard that it looks like a scrambled egg, more of the tamago texture! It's a horror! The drink section's too untidy. The coffee vendo machine doesn't work, I have to measure my coffee manually. The iced tea is too bland. Overall, I feel like the price isn't worth it now as it used to before. I hope they could maintain the quality.
