Watering hole is great if you are passing by and want a quick bite. Dishes are consistent along time, though they could use a little more of natural products (juices). Anytime from breakfast to dinner you will surely find something on the menu.

This used to be our default restaurant for lunch. We came because of its proximity to the office, their service (Jess is most efficient) and their pancit hab-hab. Aside from a popular chain, Watering Hole is one of the few establishments who serve this popular Quezon province noodle dish. They serve it with bagnet on top which makes it more appetizing. However, it appears things have changed. We ordered 3 big plates of their advertised pansit hab-hab only to be served the same toppings of sayote and bagnet, but the noodles were of the canton variety (photo attached). When we raised this, the staff tried their earnest to convince us that it was the authentic one. Well, we know our noodles very well and that was not the miki we love. The canton they served was mushy, tasteless and did not have the look, feel, color and bite of the Quezon variety. Long story short, we never finished ours. Disappointing, as it was one of the reasons why we come back.
Good place, have many dishes to choose from. I like it, good comfort food without to much pretention.
Food in watering hole is for me the one of the 2 places where you will find the best homestyle comfort Filipino food you can find in the Burgos Circle area of BGC. Food is reasonably priced and delicious, so it ends up being your favorite immediately. This visit must have been my 9th or 10th time to eat here. Service is always prompt, serving size is just right (not too much or too little you end up not satisfied) and staff are always friendly without being obtrusive. You know exactly what you will get when you eat here and no surprises or bad inconsistent taste in the dishes. Now that Cafe Juanita has closed, expect more people to come here for their Filipino food cravings. My fave dishes are the wagyu tapa, baked macaroni with longganisa and the crispy pork binagoongan. The best ever. And it seems they also have a decent selection of drinks that people come here too after dinner for a night out. Great place to bring foreigners who want to sample real Filipino cuisine.
