What Tiffany Wyman doesn't like about Fely J's Kitchen:
Our entire family went for lunch after the 1st year death anniversary of our Mama Lola. This was the second time I come here for lunch. Honestly, the food is good. Depending on what you order, some dishes may just be better. But we had...kare-kare, friend fish, rising-gising, mango with kilawin and others.. I don't remember because food was ordered by my mom-in-law. Everything was good but what stood out with me was... View all feedback.
We were taken here by locals and they ordered local dishes mostly based on pork. The pork knuckle was delicious and crunchy.
Came last saturday at around 1:30pm. place wasn't crowded. ordered the pako (fern) salad and pork adobo along with 2 cups plain white rice. the pako was nice and crispy, but the shrimps that were served with it were not freshly cooked. they were hard in texture, and not soft and chewy. the pork adobo was nicely presented (two perfectly square pieces of pork with some bits of garlic cloves), but again they were tough to cut and chew (matigas). this serving cost around P450. the adobo taste (of soy sauce) was weak. i don't know if the chef/s even tasted this. maybe i would rather have a flavorful fried adobo in bite sized pieces that is served in carinderias than this one. the mixed veggies (broccoli with mushrooms) did not particularly strike me, but the serving was too small. waiting time wasn't long, and maybe because the food was all precooked. and for that, we spent p1500 all in all. (one cup of plain white rice cost p55, without service charge and local tax pa yun).
Their famous sinigang is worth it! Ths fried tilapia is also great. The place is a bit hot though even if the area is not crowded.
