Contribute FeedbackI ordered their roasted chicken and rice + Creamy Pork Cop and rice. Only the chicken was hot and the soup. The rest on the plate were cold! Including the cream base on the pork chop. Totally disappointed! I went here with my son to have dinner as I didnt want to cook dinner tonight. :(
Dinner at 7:45pm, Wednesday night... Empty. Must be early. Started with a pumpkin soup... Perfect! I don't need the side of chips. Followed by a hefty truffle mushroom pasta, then Moroccan Chicken. Yum! Too much for one person but flavor is there. Oh and the garlic rice on the side was nicely oily and flavorful! ...by the way, service was excellent!!!! Superb!!!! A must visit if around Taguig / The Fort area in Manila and want a quiet but delicious meal.
FAT now offers affordable lunch specials for just about Php 200. I say one of the affordable considering its location in BGC. I'm not sure how long has their lunch specials been but we were able to try it 3x already. All lunch specials are no more than Php 200 but if you will add the 10% service charge, it will cost you not more than Php 230. Drinks can be added at Php 25 so your total bill will be roughly Php 250. Not bad.The serving size is enough for one. Enough to get you quite full for lunch. There are quite a number of choices on their lunch specials. I've tried their baked mussels twice. One the 1st try, it has hefty serving of cheese on top of each mussels which I love that's why i tried it again on the 2nd visit. But unfortunately on the 2nd try, it now only have thin strip of cheese on top of each mussels, not even covering the whole of it. I no longer bother to ask why. But it is still delicious though, a bit spicy as stated in the menu. I have also tried their pork chop which is also delicious and their pulled pork which I think provides insufficient bacon gravy.Checking the rest if their menu, I think its not that cheap though I'm not sure how are those tastes like as I haven't tried it yet.For those working in BGC and looking for an affordable lunch then I recommend this place.
FAT is an interesting concept - a lot of potential. Food is average to good. Some items are done well like the duck burger while others are average. I had the ribeye steak that came with a 64 degree egg (soft boiled egg) - OK, but what does that do for the overall dish? No one cared to explain the chef's concept of how to use the egg with the steak or with the other side-dish that came with it. I think sometimes a chef can overthink their food preparation or plating. The steak was prepared well; but it had a little too much fat or tough gristle. Would I go back? Yes, the restaurant deserves another chance. As I said, it is an interesting concept that just needs a little fine tuning to make it a good to great restaurant.
Service is good, very attentive and they know the food.service is fast and doesnt need to be asked like water etc. food is great overall to come back for
