Down home cooking you can’t get at “normal” restaurants.Our order consisted of: the metamora burger, Ben Franklin burger, fried mushrooms, French fries, tater soup, chilli, salad.It was all good. We were full when we left, but you don’t have that sicky feeling you get when you eat at fast food. The burgers were juicy, and the soups you could tell were homemade. Batter on the mushrooms- so good. Your run of the mill restaurants are a dime a dozen. Little hole in the wall restaurants like these are the gems. Loved it! Will be returning.

The owner came out to meet us, which... read more Joe greeted us with a heartfelt welcome (all restaurants could learn from him) and waited on us in such a friendly manner. The owner came out to meet us, which allowed us to thank her for her delicious hand-breaded onion rings and fried mushrooms, plus the great tenderloin on our sandwiches. We would definitely return again. Nothing fancy, but that’s what we were looking for.
