Down home cooking you can’t get at “normal” restaurants.Our order consisted of: the metamora burger, Ben Franklin burger, fried mushrooms, French fries, tater soup, chilli, salad.It was all good. We were full when we left, but you don’t have that sicky feeling you get when you eat at fast food. The burgers were juicy, and the soups you could tell were homemade. Batter on the mushrooms- so good. Your run of the mill restaurants are a dime a dozen. Little hole in the wall restaurants like these are the gems. Loved it! Will be returning.

The hand-breaded mushrooms were fantastic, and the hand-breaded tenderloin was very good and thick. I highly recommend the chicken and noodles. It feels like a cozy mom-and-pop spot tucked away.
