I had the Tampico plate, and it was fantastic—hot and fresh! This is a family-run business, and the owners' son is incredibly friendly. If you truly appreciate authentic Mexican food, this place is a must-visit!

Authentic Mexican food made with fresh ingredients! The salsa and the queso are absolutely addictive. When we ordered two entrees, we discovered a complimentary dip, so we opted for the queso. Our two dishes—a steak gordita and a steak burrito—were both delicious! You can really tell they use quality cuts of steak; it was perfectly cooked and not fatty at all. The servers were friendly and attentive, always happy to refill our drinks and chips as needed. I highly recommend supporting this restaurant. We need more Mexican places like El Fagon in this city!

A friend told me that this place was pretty good, but it was honestly great. the service is with the quality of food at the same level. I had the Asada tacos with a little queen and it was amazing. I would get this place over el paso. I really enjoyed the whole visit. the victoria bier is also quite good. would be a great place for a date, a couple or a small group. it was not that expensive either compared to the quality of food.

They made my party of six feel welcome right away. I visited on a Friday for lunch, and it wasn’t too crowded. It was a bit chilly inside, but they quickly turned on the heat, which I appreciated. They offer complimentary salsa and chips, although the salsa tasted more like tomato sauce than the salsa I’ve had at other Mexican restaurants. I ordered the Pina Maya, which came out sizzling. It was on the sweeter side, and I absolutely loved it. I also tried a friend's Sopes de Asada, but I wasn't very impressed. Some members of my party mentioned that their food was served cold, but I didn’t experience that issue. I’ll definitely return to try more items from the menu.

Super friendly service, went with a group of 20 and the owner was very attentive and put to servers to our group. Food was delicious , definitely recommend it.
