A welcoming place with good food. We ordered the platter for three of us, and it was enough for an appetizer. Plus, the delicious meatballs. The meat-based main courses were good. Delicious tiramisu.

We ran into parametro by accident. We were a little bit early as we were on a day trip to messina and had to catch the last train (kitchen had not opened yet). As we try to eat vegeterian 99% of the time, the lovely staff recommended a vegeterian tagliere which was not on the menu. We choose a nice bottle of white wine cuvee (sauvignon blanc, traminer). We really enjoyed the food, wine, the great service an athmosphere of this restaurant. Therefore, we reserved a table for the next day and booked a hotel in messina to eat a la carte. Like the day before, service and food and drinks were great: Food We had a pecorino fondue, the Ravioli di Basilico, burrata e datterino confitand, pesce del giorno and the tagliatelle di carruba, ricotta e canditi. I really loved the idea of a pecorino fondue, however, the cheese was only melted in the oven and not held warm over a flame permanently. Therefore, the cheese got hard quickly. I would have loved a properly melted cheese. The Ravioli and Pesce dishes were prepared properly and tasted delicious. In my personal opinion only, I would have loved more dried tomatoes on the Ravioli dish, which would have added more punch and acidity to that dish, however, thats my personal opionion. I loved that dish anyways. I would describe the tagliatelle di carruba, ricotta e canditi as a deconstructed Cannoli with a punch of mango puree and dashes of coffee. It tasted lighter and more delicate than a usual cannoli. Drinks I really liked the wine and cocktail menu. You can litterally have every wine on the menu by glass, even more expensive wines such as Solaia from Antinori. Bottle prices are a bargain. We also had several cocktails. The bar keeper personally came by and asked if everything was fine. I can definitely recommend the gin based cocktails (the whiskey based old fashioned was ok, but definitely too sweet). service Our service was amazing. Always paying attention, kind and our waiter spoke english fluently. My wife does speak italian, however I (sadly) do not.

We went to Parametro for an aperitif and ordered several dishes to share. Excellent quality and variety of dishes and absolutely affordable price. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I recommend booking on the weekends.

A very refined restaurant that offers a refined cuisine. Many traditional Sicilian dishes have been revised in a modern key with not at all unpleasant additions, such as, for example, a reinterpretation of arancini. The portions of the dishes I tasted leave a little to be desired, I certainly don't expect my plates to be filled as a glutton, but neither are slightly asphyxiated portions which have a specific weight in the bill. Cocktails are good but again in limited quantity. It is a refined place where quality is not lacking, you have to work on it, in my opinion in quantity.
