May... read more Our evening was ok but felt a little weird. Our welcome was luke warm and confused. To start off we had no idea who were the staff and who were the clients. Maybe taking a laid back vibe a step too far, at least for us. Almost everyone at tables near the terrace entrance were smoking cigarettes and the air was pretty thick with smoke, which to an ex smoker isn't great for the appetite. Once we were seated the waiter was friendly enough and the service was fast and efficient. Nice choice of drinks and the lamb I had was tasty well cooked and a decent portion. My wife was less impressed with the size of her meal but the flavour was good. The goodbye was warm and friendly...

The service is very good, the staff very friendly. We will return with great pleasure during our next stay in Messanges.
