Outback Steakhouse Mesquite

Family friendly place. Eat up to the expectations of the chain restaurant and others I visited throughout the country. We sat fast with our big party with children. The tables must be repainted as they peel. The bathrooms were fairly clean except to build the soap under the dispenser and the baby changing table needs attention in the cracks. The food was good and hot. The steak was very tasteful. They cooked our steaks a bit more rare, but they could send it back to the grill for a flash. It was perfect. The flowering onion is as you would expect, and the fried mushrooms did not last long. Both appetizers come with a heavy part. The carrot cake had more a refrigerator taste than I expected. The cheese cake was good and vanilla ice cream was very tasteful. Child friendliness: Leave back, loops for car seats, high chairs, children's menu with meals and juices. Parking: Many parking spaces around the building with walking paths to the entrance.

Went to the Mesquite location on 11/13/22. Our waitress was Laci. She was phenomenal! Very attentive, personable, nice, making this visit spectacular. She was the best waitress I have had in the last several years.

Me my boyfriend went in earlier just left about 20 mins ago . The food was great as well as the dessert . After we got our food our waiter looked at us the whole time …. We could feel him staring at us … as if we were going to run out on our tab … Then came I believe who’s the manager started to come back forth by our table , he offered us a dessert then came with tab …. We gave him our card because he was acting the same way as the waiter … He didn’t even bring it back the waiter did as if they were looking for trouble …. I loved the food but we felt horrible being in there getting watched like we couldn’t cover our tab worst experience ever …. We paid $64 that was our tab total still managed to tip the man out of our good hearts … Hope nobody else has to experience this ..

Traveled all day and needed dinner. Came in about seven pm with a group of 8. Service was good and facilities were clean. A few steaks were over cooked. Medium rare filet and medium Outback were both well. However they quickly remade my dinner and the manager brought it out. We’ll be back next week. Came back a week later and food was great but service could use a lesson in friendliness.

The service was impeccable. The Bloomin Onion was still the same great app. My daughter had a burger and said it was good and my son had the grilled chicken with no issues (and he is picky). My wife was satisfied with her meal, so it was just my dinner that did not make the grade! What used to be the Ribs on the Barbie are now terrible. The meat was so tough I had a hard time getting through it and wound up quite a mess in the attempt. Very disappointing for me. As I mentioned, the service was excellent. Reggie was top notch and deserves the recognition.
