We have not dined at Athenos for at least 5 years. We moved from the Garland/Mesquite area in 2014. We dined on Saturday, December 8th in route to a party in Mesquite. Disappointed. I used to eat here a couple times a month but the last time I went, I tried to order a couple kids meals and adult meal and they said you can only order ONE kids meal per adult meal ordered.Why is this a rule?.. View all feedback.
Delicious food and excellent service! Staff is so patient and helpful! Download one of their excellent Facebook photos and tell them that is what you want! The beer is ice-cold! Will be back!
Woww!! By far the best Greek restaurant weve visited.. the best food and overall the best experience!! we love the environment and loved the service by far the best! The server was awsome he sure does know how to make you feel welcome and makes sure your well attended thank you!! The Owner Emanuel we loved the chat with him he has pride in what he does.. Very good food and waitstaff. I had 3 appetizers and dessert: falafel, spanikopita, and Athenian Greek salad, and a phylo-wrapped custard broiled and topped with honey. Great meal! Enough to share, but I was alone that evening.
Best tasting authentic Greek food we've tried in Texas! Highly recommend. Gracious host we enjoyed conversation with him regarding the menu, and his story of moving to America. The pita bread was very fresh not stale like at many places. Everything was also very flavorful. Many people came in for takeout, but eating in the dining room was a very fun experience.
Delicious food and great service. My wife and I enjoyed our meals and loved how flavorful everything was. Highly recommended.
