I wish we had lived closer.

This is the first time that the evaluation does not have the quality, interior or service. 7 minutes too late and apologise to the waiter/host arrogant, to tell... read more This is the first time that the evaluation does not have the quality, interior or service. 7 minutes too late and apologise to the waiter/host arrogant, to tell us that next time we have to be on time. first impression. the interieur is outdated (80’s-*90’s look) and... quickly depressing. the small toy aquarium with a fish in it was the final touch. eating was like the inner and the service, seemingly good intentions with a serious scare of arrogance. it started with dried amuse bouches in a baked. the sauces are very, very rich and there is too much focus on a strong palette per dish. to finish a positive note, the desert was in order.

It's always a pleasure to come to La Vieille Forge, a delight for the taste buds (kudos to the chef for his work with yesterday's vegetables and aromatic herbs)... read more It's always a pleasure to come to La Vieille Forge, a delight for the taste buds (kudos to the chef for his work with yesterday's vegetables and aromatic herbs), a pleasure to receive a warm welcome (congratulations to Zoé, the restaurant's newest recruit), and a pleasure to find a setting perfect for a romantic evening (the Forge room was truly lovely yesterday). It's a shame that, for all these reasons, the place wasn't busier this Saturday evening. See you soon to discover the new spring menu!
