However, I've noticed that the portions have been getting smaller and the meats and cheeses are sliced so thin that you can almost see through them. At $16.95 for a Giant, the small portions and nearly transparent slices just aren't worth it. I used to think Jersey Mike's was "A Sub Above," but it feels more like they're falling behind the competition now. I’m not a big fan of Subway, but they definitely provide thicker slices and more consistent portions. Come on, Jersey Mike's – it's time to amp up those slice thicknesses and win back your loyal customers!
