Bibio - Mesa
Bibio
Description
Bibio offers a tantalizing glimpse into Korean cuisine, boasting flavorful hot bowls and generous portions, especially for the adventurous eater keen on customizing toppings. Diners rave about the spicy pork and the playful ambiance of K-Pop music videos. However, concerns about cleanliness and inconsistent service mar the experience, with sticky floors, dirty surfaces, and unresponsive staff reported by some. While many appreciate the delicious food and gluten-free options, others faced issues with cold meals and online orders. Ultimately, Bibio showcases potential but requires a diligent commitment to service and hygiene to fully realize its promise.

It was delicious! The staff was super helpful and friendly! We tried all the different meats between our whole group and every one of them tasted fantastic! The picture is of the kimchi fries and they are so good!!!
Food was good. The steak was great, the cold toppings were good, and sauce. Great customer service from the tall staff member. He offered free samples.
I have been missing Korean food, so we tried this the other night. We all really enjoyed the build your own bowl experience. I liked that we could put as many different toppings as we wanted. My husband and I got the hot stone bowl while my kids shared aregular one. The hot bowls were really yummy but very big, so maybe next time we will share. I think Bibio has the mostflavorful food I have had in Gilbert so far!
Super disappointed, I was very excited to find a Korean place near my home. I walk in and had to wait 5 minutes before anyone came to the front. The restaurant was empty so there is no excuse for the delay. I asked for the exact same thing on both bowlsand was missing half the items on 1 of the bowls. The bowls were so light on sauce that the bowl flavor was bland. Thisrestaurant had a good product, but needs to actually try their bowls to understand what they are putting out.
I'm really disappointed. I was looking forward to trying Bibio with my coworkers. I placed an online order for pickup at 12:30 PM around 11:30 AM. Unfortunately, it seems the website didn't communicate well with the restaurant. When we picked up our food, everything was cold, as if it had been made right after I placed the order. Additionally, two of the five bowls I ordered had no sauce at all. The fries were particularly disappointing; they were cold and soggy. We all ended up having to microwave our meals. If I had known that the requested pickup time wouldn't be honored, I would have placed my order much later. The food was tasty, which is why I gave it two stars instead of one. I recommend not ordering online; just go in and place your order.
