Delicious and truly authentic takeout—definitely one of the best Chinese spots in London! You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, which makes the price worth it. The staff is incredibly friendly as well; they patiently explained that my order might take longer than usual due to how busy they were that day. They informed me it would be ready by 8:00 PM, but assured me everything would be done by 7:55 PM. View all feedback.
What R6753ULnicks doesn't like about The Good Earth:
This used to be our treat Chinese takeaway, but tonight 's meal will be our last from this restaurant. One of the most disappointing Chinese meals I 've ever had. Ridiculously hard chilli beef, Singapore noodles were virtually devoid of chicken and prawns, and the crispy aromatic duck wasn 't even crispy. A waste of £45. View all feedback.
Food over done sauces for starters watered down . Complained to restaurant . They admitted sauce watered down !!! Not worth paying the money . Lots of other nice restaurants .

Not impressed with the quality. All the dishes were too oily and bland, not fresh ingredients. Unlike the restaurants in Esher and Wandsworth which are excellent in quality of food and service.
The food is delightful overall, but I recommend steering clear of any chicken dishes. They seem to either use frozen chicken that has been defrosted or simply lack quality, resulting in a consistently unpleasant taste across all chicken options. On the other hand, the prawns and beef are excellent!
Prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. We've been loyal customers for years, but during our last takeaway order, they refused to replace the pancakes with just a few lettuce leaves to accommodate my coeliac condition. This had never been an issue in the past. This time, they even wanted to charge an extra £1.50 for a few leaves! There are plenty of excellent restaurants in the area, including great Chinese options. We won't be going back to Good Earth.
