It has been a while since I last had fish and chips, and this meal was delightful. The batter was crispy, the fish was cooked perfectly, and the chips were amazing - just like the ones you get from a traditional chip shop! I will definitely be ordering this again.
Not sure if owners have changed but the quality when we are in the restaurant was bad. The fish was bland and greasy. Chips weren’t much better either. Had to rely on the tartare to help make the chips edible. Also, the price of a glass of Coke Zero over £3 is robbery considering not even a can. They pour from a bottle which is flat. Will not be returning here..
Too expensive
Very hospitable and family-friendly atmosphere. I ordered a large cod with chips to take-away but decided instead to dine-in when I saw the nice setting. It could have frustrated the situation but it didn’t, instead they treated me with great patience and kindness. Excellent customer service.
