Mio Modo Trattoria - Merrillville

One of my favorite new Italian restaurants in Northwest Indiana. The food is delicious. The Risotto is out of this world. My favorite entree is the Chicken Limone. But the pizzas are pretty darn good too! I'm not a big fan of Sangria, but there Sangrias are delicious!

We visited Trattoria Mio Modo for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the inviting atmosphere. While the waitstaff was still gaining experience, they were incredibly friendly and eager to meet our needs. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. The wine selection was impressive, and the pours were generous. We also enjoyed some delicious desserts. Norma and Chef Martin stopped by our table for a quick conversation, and it was clear that they are passionate about their work and genuinely enjoy satisfying their customers. This restaurant is a fantastic addition for lovers of Italian cuisine in the area. We will definitely return.

I absolutely love Italian cuisine, and after my first visit to this restaurant, it has quickly become my new favorite Italian spot. The Red Pepper Soup was delicious and served as a perfect starter before my pasta dish, which was simply extraordinary. I highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner with your partner. Make sure to add it to your Friday night date night plans—it's definitely worth it. And as a bonus, the cinnamon-flavored coffee tasted like dessert!

The food was excellent, and I want to commend the chef. The service was also fantastic.
