I... read more I had an excellent experience with the broasted fried chicken here. It was fresh, crispy, and complemented by some fantastic homemade jo jos and potato salad. I drove from Wausau, and it was absolutely worth it. However, it was not what I initially expected; it’s primarily a takeout restaurant and liquor store now, so dining in isn’t really an option. The mother and son who run the place are incredibly lovely. If you're in the mood for some fried chicken, I highly recommend this spot!

We visited this restaurant after a trip to Helene's orchard, and we were truly impressed. If you're in search of genuine local hospitality, this is the spot. Their Bloody Marys offer an incredible 22 different flavor options and are served with a complimentary beer and a selection of toppings, many of which are sourced straight from the garden. We also shared a chicken dinner, and the skin was wonderfully crispy while the stuffing tasted homemade. We will definitely be returning!

I... read more I had a fantastic takeout experience on April 9, 2020. We ordered three chicken dinners along with an extra eight-piece bucket, and everything was delicious. I also picked up some great beers. Mike kindly brought everything out to the car for us. I wish I had a chance to say hi to his mom, though. It felt good to support a local business during these challenging times. Definitely money well spent!

The place we had planned to go to was closed on a Sunday night, so I checked the car's GPS and this restaurant's name stood out. Not only do they serve large portions of chicken, but it's also a paradise for beer lovers. The selection of craft beers is impressive. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and recommended two fantastic IPAs that we paired perfectly with our chicken. You definitely have to check out this place!
