Today, I went to a restaurant craving a cheeseburger, but unfortunately, their policy is to cook it well done. I prefer rare burgers, so I was disappointed to not be able to get one cooked to my liking. I find it frustrating to pay $12 for a burger that I can't enjoy to my preference. Whenever you're in the mood for a quick and delicious burger, Five Guys is the place to go. No matter where we are, we can always count on their consistency. Today, we were originally looking for a smaller independent restaurant, but many were closed due to the holiday, so we ended up at the Huntington location. To our delight, we discovered that they also offer milkshakes, something we had always wanted to try. We're not sure if all Five Guys locations in New York have this option, but it was a pleasant surprise for us. The variety of flavors available was impressive, not just your typical vanilla and chocolate. Overall, we felt like we had the perfect meal for the 4th of July.

This is a repeat location for us after visiting Jones Beach. Clean restrooms, relaxed staff pushes our food without issue and happy to customize the cook temp on the hot dog for our particular toddler (not too crispy or char) but perfectly within food safety requirements.Kid-friendliness: Our toddler feels comfortable here and even helps bus the table to the correct bins!
This place has deteriorated a lot, the fries are terrible watery, the burger I give it 3
