I visited Carvel and ordered a vanilla cone with chocolate coating, a vanilla cone with groundnuts, and a chocolate milkshake. Instead, I received a bowl of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup, a bowl of chocolate ice cream with fruit, and the milkshake tasted more like chocolate milk. When I pointed out the mistake, they began to argue with me, so I decided to leave without paying.
I was given one price but then they charged me differently and accused me of making mistakes with my credit card.
The ice cream was good, but the gentleman who served us had a limited command of English, making communication quite difficult. We ordered two ice cream sodas and two junior soft serve ice creams, and the total came to $32 after tax, which I found to be quite unreasonable. I don't think I'll be returning.
On a sweltering summer day, who doesn't enjoy some ice or a refreshing cold shake? The cakes here are also truly delightful.
I highly recommend visiting this unique Carvel ice cream store. They offer a wide variety of cakes in different sizes and decorations, available at all times.
