Bourbon Brews - Merrick

I visited this bar a few times and never really had a great experience that is regrettable because I live in the area and want to like it. This Sunday I went for a drink with my girlfriend and was not impressed by the service we got. The drinks were good! However, our server has often done something else instead of asking us if we like another drink. The music selection was terrible, they even played jingle bell rock in August. In the end, when I got the bill, I realized that this bar doesn't make any returns. Almost every bar I had drinks will give you a purchase, especially if you spend a good amount of drinks and money. Very disappointing!

I literally never had a less than spectacular meal here. PS... the music has completely started and the staff is fantastic?

I want this place since its so close, but it disappoints every time. The bartender/worship tonight, the women with sunglasses constantly in their hair, talked about their phone all night. I ran up people and cleared tables during the phone. I write behind the bar, but she had no respect for the people she served.

The first time in this place today. My wife and I go by every day, but I thought it was just a bar. Today we thought we'd let ourselves in here and drink until we saw the menu. So, hey... why don't you leave? s give a burger to go and let?s see how it goes. Shannon the bartender recommended to let it do that. The woman had the chicken slaughter... delicious! The Burger? Let's say it was AMAZING! Of course, the bar is loaded with the best Bourbons to couple everything, but I ended up with the Moscow Mules.... several actually.

Went out for a birthday celebration two weeks ago, and were SHOCKED. This place has been open for a bit, and we've always said we'd check It out but never got around to It. Bar food is nice, but usually nothing special so we pushed It off. We ended up coming by on a wim to celebrate a birthday and It was so much better than expected. The food was good! We all had different grilled cheese's that were absolutely the best grilled cheese any of us have tasted. We had great drinks, great music, great atmosphere at the outdoor seating tables (With heat lamps that kept us warm, might I add). But the best part by far was the service. Our waiter Will was so beyond incredible that we were calling him King by the end of the night. 1000/10 would come again just to get some tips on whats good from Will. Thanks for the incredible dinner!
