Popped in today (19th Oct 2017) on our way from Gippsland Vic... driving through to Bunker Bay for a wedding. We stopped at your gorgeous little shop and experienced one of the best coffee's ever... and a cute take away cup that it came in. I had a bacon and egg toasty (delicious) and hubby had the spinach quiche. We were blown away by the the food was handed to us once warmed up.. in a gorgeous little brown bag and hubby was super impressed with the way the quiche was served with knife and fork and salad. I loved all the goodies and gift ware and the beautiful colours of the furniture. I needed to pop out to the ladies room .. i don't i think i have ever experienced a bathroon facility quite as lovely as this. I absolutely commend the owner and staff of this adorable little cafe you just wouldn't expect to find in a little town across WA. Spectacular. Thank you.
We dropped in at 8pm for a feed after finding the pub had been closed permanently. We had just travelled 900km from Cocklebiddy at the end of our caravan odyssey to the east coast. Tracy and her staff could do enough for us as the Cafe is BYO she offered to drive me back to our caravan to get some beers to have with our meal. And then the coup de grâce my Cream of Pumpkin soup entrée and Chicken Parmigiana Main were to die for!! Thanks Tracy to you and your staff for your hospitality.
My daughter and I were at your cafe for breakfast....I have to say your smashed avo breakfast is the best breakfast I have ever eaten
Although there were no vegan options advertised on the menu, I decided to try the vegetable paella, which I believe was vegan. The dish was delicious and satisfying. (Review updated on 2023-10-02)
This place is hit and miss which is a shame because it used to be great. I usually visit on the weekend and the weekend barista is top of his game produces city grade coffee consistently . Unfortunately it is no longer open on Sundays which means there is now NOWHERE in this town to get a barista made coffee or breakfast on a Sunday. The last time I popped in was a Monday and it was the first time Lord M and I have ever thrown a coffee in the bin. I know it's hard to find and keep good staff in country towns but it would be good to see this business return to its former glory.... maybe consider enticing backpackers to visit on rotation or something.
