Aksorn Thai - Mernda

We ordered the tom yum soup for delivery, and it was very watery, with only a piece of mushroom floating in it. The taste was terrible and it was nothing like the delicious versions I've had at many other Thai restaurants, including ones in Thailand. I won't be returning.

Very authentic food. curry is amazing and excellent value for the amount of meat they receive.

I simply ordered and didn’t receive what I had requested. I tried to call, but no one answered the phone. I attempted to call several more times, but still no response. After that, when I tried again, the line was busy. This experience was not acceptable.

It's frustrating when you pay for meals that are prepared with such little effort that it makes you question whether the restaurant is genuinely invested in providing quality food. Unfortunately, that's exactly what I encountered last night with two dishes. First, the spring rolls were laughable. There was barely any filling—just a tiny amount of minced meat wrapped in a pastry that seemed to take up 98% of the dish. To top it off, the sweet chili sauce was so diluted it had no flavor whatsoever. Then came the Pad Thai, a dish that should be hard to mess up—but they somehow managed it. The noodles were soggy, the meat tasted like it had been reheated, and there was an odd, overpowering lemon flavor that just didn’t work. In good restaurants, staff typically check in to see if you've enjoyed your meal. However, in this place, they seemed unfazed by the fact that I left both plates untouched. It was a disappointing experience all around.

Lovely food and really lovely staff. We had such a lovely dinner. Thank you
