What Samantha Rutherford dislikes about Moxie Java:
I ordered an iced Americano. Pretty simple. They jammed so much ice into the cup I couldn’t even put my straw in. You know, so people do like water in their ice Americano. View all feedback.

Worst customer service I have ever recieved. I walked into the store asking for one large sandwich. Nothing too much to ask of the 4 people they had on staff, standing around talking. The person slicing the meat took forever to start the sandwich, and hardly even spoke a word. The woman seemed upset, but almost as if she were taking it out on me. As she FINALLY finished the meat and cheese, another young woman asked me how I wanted it and I told her, but she kept putting things on that I didnt order. When i finally got through the line, after 10 minutes, I paid for my sandwich. 10$ for one sandwich??? Ridiculous. The young man helping bag the sandwich made great conversation on the contrary. Each of the other staff looked at me as if I had asked them to liberate Iraq. Its a sandwich, people. I will avoiding this location from now on, as should you.
Super displeased. If you guys are gonna have a split business, have a better system. I sat at the orderbox unanswered for 7 minutes (20 minutes in line total) just to have the lady answering my order completely distracted and take 2 minutes to put my simple order in. And received my iced drink lukewarm. Not to mention the four people behind me waiting even longer.

Blimpie’s Main Street location offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff who often remember regular customers by name, making it a welcoming spot for sandwiches and coffee. Their menu features diverse options, including popular seasonal drinks like pumpkin and unique mochas. However, inconsistent service mars the experience for some patrons, with reports of slow order handling, inattentive staff, and occasional dismissive attitudes—especially concerning dietary needs. While food quality generally pleases, excessive wait times and lapses in professionalism suggest this location needs improvements to match its potential as a beloved community eatery.

Came in on Father’s Day around 2:30pm. Probably one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I came in and asked about how safe it would be for me to eat here with celiacs disease. I was advised that there was a good chance of cross contamination so I chose not to get a sandwich. The lady that was explaining it to me suddenly became agitated when I said I’d pass on the sandwich and just order a coffee. The eye roll, the sigh, and the dirty looks mixed with whispering to a male coworker when I walked away was just uncomfortable. When I walked over to the coffee counter, I was trying to make small talk with the barista (a completely different employee) so I mentioned how I wasn’t try to be rude by not eat and explaining how sick gluten makes me. She gave me a dirty look and made a snarky comment about how it’s my diet and my choice. Having celiacs disease is having an autoimmune disease and it most definitely is NOT my choice. Eating out is hard for me and it’s even harder when employees are rude about it. My coffee tasted amazing but was NOT worth being treated like an inconvenience or dealing with snobby employees. Wouldn’t recommend.
