Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Meridian

Great food they were really busy 4. Juli, but worked well as a group. I was worth the short waiting

It's a chain restaurant, but still decent barbeque. The meat was good, but the sides were not very good. You have free ice cream. Clean location

We're on a bus tour today and we stopped in the area. My family decided to try Dickeys and was very satisfied with the food and service. It wasn't even time to be open to them, but they served us anyway. As an additional perk was soft ice cream for customers free. Southern hospitality best.

I had two meat plates with Brisket and turkey. Both were moist and very good. But they broke Brisket. What's wrong with that? Beans and Mac-N cheese for my two sides, nothing to be done. Portions are small for the price. Turn off the music. It's a restaurant, not a bar room. Music between 80 90 decibels. All over 85 is harmful to your ears. Yes I have a decibel counter on my phone.

Very good barbecue and portions for the reasonable price. Meat wasn't finely chopped, but not everyone likes that like I do, but the chunks were small. The beans and slaw were fresh and tasty, the staff was friendly, and the dining room was clean and orderly. This Dickeys location seems to be a step above the others I've experienced.
