I’ve been going to Capri for years and have always enjoyed good service. Unfortunately, that changed today. The waiter, W, seemed inattentive and failed to ask... read more I’ve been going to Capri for years and have always enjoyed good service. Unfortunately, that changed today. The waiter, W, seemed inattentive and failed to ask the necessary questions for clarification. He didn’t appear to have a language barrier, but if he did, he should have communicated better. He began by taking one person’s order for the table and then started to walk away, asking if that was all, even though two adults hadn’t placed their orders yet. I spoke with the owner, who responded dismissively, saying, "Welcome to Covid," and suggested that we could go elsewhere. His attitude was very nonchalant. It’s time to stop using COVID as an excuse. While staffing issues are challenging, other establishments have found ways to adapt and succeed.

First off, I have to say the... read more I visited the Meridian Capri/Delsa's for the first time after checking out the Capri Delsa's Ice Cream in downtown Boise on Ustick. First off, I have to say the breakfast was excellent! I enjoyed a protein-packed meal, while my companion indulged in a carb and sugar overload—quite the contrast! I'm a fan of those classic greasy spoon diners, and Capri Boise definitely earns that title for me; it feels like home. Delsa's on Ustick is the cutest spot for outdoor dining in the summer. The newer combo shops in Meridian are modern and cleaner than the other two locations. While I was there, I noticed several loyal local customers coming in and out, which speaks volumes about the place! However, it was farther from me than I expected, so I guess I'm just drawn to that cozy, familiar atmosphere. I truly love Capri!

I had the hotcakes special with pumpkin hotcakes. Yum. Many had an omlette, and they all looked and smelled wonderful. The service was extremely amazing, even on a very busy Saturday morning. Los of tables and chairs. My daughter has to be gluten-free, and she was very pleased with her meal. Thank you, Capris, for a blessed and special friends morning.
