The Little Rendezvous - Meriden

This place completely lives up to the hype.. unbelievable pizza, great staff. The pepperoni and tomato pie were out of this world. Meatball pie was solid just a little burnt but hey.. it’s a one man operation. The owner is the only person making the pies, it’s quite impressive. The craft, the process, the coal on the floor, it all makes this pizza absolutely spectacular. I will be back.

I had high hopes this pizza was going to be the best around. lt was completely the opposite, by far the worst pizza lve had, it reminded me of cheap store bought pizza. How it got a 9.1 is beyond me. Hugh dissapointment!!!Dont even compare it to New Haven pizza.

This is the perfect example of tradition and craftsmanship driving sales and everyone inside the building knew that they were about to experience something special.

I have been in Connecticut for over 25 years, my wife was born and raised here, and neither of us had ever tried Little Rendezvous before tonight. The biggest question is, Why? In short, we have no idea, but we 're sure glad we finally did. This is by far some of the best pizza we 've ever had. We had The House Special. The sauce is good, toppings fresh, and the crust, while thinner than many places, was not burned, crispy or otherwise anything but fabulous. Definitely will be a repeat customer because of such great quality. If you 've not been to Little Rendezvous before, don 't wait any longer. Grab some and bring it home ASAP.
