I have never experienced such terrible service in my life. The lobby was open, so I went inside to order two sandwiches to go— a simple request. There was one customer ahead of me, and I waited at least 10 minutes before anyone came to the counter. Eventually, a staff member who was also filling the previous order brought the food to the counter, told me she’d be right back, and went to prepare more ingredients. There were five other employees working, but when my order was finally taken by a different worker, I was told it would take five minutes. While I waited, the employees gathered to discuss their schedules and then disappeared, except for the woman at the drive-thru window. A young man asked if my order had been taken, and I said yes. After 7 or 8 minutes, I asked the drive-thru worker to check on my order. Another woman returned and prepared the sandwiches with the chicken the young man had just put in the oven while talking to me. There was no organization or communication at all. I felt completely ignored and undervalued. Meanwhile, the lobby remained uncleaned—I'm not sure what these employees were being paid to do.
I waited in the drive-thru for 10 minutes and had to get out of my car just to place an order. When I went inside, all the staff were gathered in the dining area. The customer service was terrible, and they were out of nearly everything on the menu.
The service is a bit slow, but the staff are friendly. If slow service is a big issue for someone, they could always consider working here. Personally, I don’t mind the slight delay since I work night shifts.
The handmade sign advertising fried chicken caught our attention, so we decided to stop by to satisfy our craving. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience. We both ordered the special combo that comes with two sides, and we were thrilled with the taste and quality, which far exceeded our expectations. The chicken was crispy on the outside and not excessively greasy.
Last summer, I ordered a two-piece meal from this restaurant for just over $5. At the drive-thru window, I paid with a $20 bill, and the cashier gave me some change that included a couple of dimes and a few bills. When I got home and counted the money, I discovered I was shorted $10. I reached out to the restaurant to lodge a complaint, providing my receipt number, and even went back in person, but they refused to reopen the window for me. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, they never returned my call. I was really frustrated with the lack of customer service, and if I hadn't held myself back, I would have had some choice words to express my dissatisfaction. Colonel Sanders would surely be disappointed with how this situation was managed.
