Comes with pieces, different types of fish, octopus, salmon, robalo, **** sticks. The batter was thick and soggy, not tempura at all. Went on to...mixed sashimi which was a portion of so small pieces, more like square lumps of fish, presented poorly on the plate. Wasn't a good choice will not go back. Service was the best part of this visit with a very friendly waitress, trying to make up for the quality of the food I'm sure.
My husband and I have eaten here three times on two separate trips to Merida, and they have a HUGE selection of sushi and specialty hand rolls. Everything is prepared beautifully and tastes great. The third time we went, we took our three teenagers with...us, two of whom are picky eaters, and even they liked it. This is well worth the ride out to City Center. Highly recommended.
Not a bad place, perfect for people who don't particularly like uncooked fish in their sushi. Most of the rolls were safely cooked and had cream cheese fillings. The sake was excellent and we had a great time with our hosts, who are just starting,...hesitantly, down the road to raw.
It is a great sushi restaurant, service is great, food is awesome and the atmosphere is very nice. Kushiages are to die for!
Our hotel concierge recommended us this restaurant, saying that it was the best sushi in Merida. I honestly wasn't expecting something as that, but since we craved for sushi that night, we were willing to give it a try. From the moment we got inside...the restaurant, we felt that we were in the right place. It was a tuesday and it was crowded. Our waiter was prompt and attentive, we had edamame as an appetizer, please try it!!!! it was so different, broiled and seasoned with lemon and chili, mmmmm. The rolls we had were delicious, and also a miso soup. The restaurant is fun, the menu is designed as a anime booklet, you'll have a great time here.
