Pizzas y Pastas Vito Corleone - Mérida

I ordered a large corleone to go, 195 pesos, and a garlic bread, 10 pesos. the garlic bread was on the dry side, but the taste was good. the pizza was less good. many meat pots with mushrooms, but no cheese and the base sauce was not tomato, but be drilling. Maybe I just chose the wrong sorts, but it wasn't my taste. the location is great, just about one block away from the central plaza. the interieur was bright with tables and chairs. I don't think I'm going back.

This is as far away from a tourist case restaurant as it may be in the old town of merida. Not sure how long vito corleone is here, but through the spots on the walls and the overall state of the interiors., probably 30 years. the probably the amount of time that has passed since it suffered an upper side to floor cleaning, or a visit by the sanitary inspection. so walls are dirty, tablecloths are plastic, as the very well used crockery and servier floors. cutlery or not available, but was not with our pizza. neither were glasses/coups for the bottle water we got at the same price they would pay in a leak. that is part of the allure and popularity of this place all the great pizzas on the menu (seen menu hanging on the wall in a couple, so the waiter can simply point out when they sit) are about $8. and big means a place approx. 15 x15, with crust thin enough that they can go through the whole thing themselves if they're really hungry, but most guests seemed to share them. in taste it is not the worst. the crust and sauce are surprisingly easy on the salt, and most ingredients are likely to come out of doses or glasses. but it fills enough, and it is a welcome change to go into a restaurant and actually get a well dimensioned portion decent food. probably a great reason for so many natives who feed here: no fuss, cheap, fast and relatiw good. the environment, at least for us, was the icing on the cake some places going away from her to artificially reach the worn, rustic charm that vito corleone oozes. oozes quite literally, at some places where they don't want to come too close and to the themes of the name. the vito corleone, the her sign and her upper wall, in pappmaché, Pinata form only carry a very transient similarity to marlon brando or robert deniro. but again a part of the charm. if they are not squeamish about where they eat, and want to feel completely out of the beaten away while only a few dozen feet away from him, make sure they visit at least once.

I had the little mexican for 50 pesos. it wasn't bad, and what a super cheaper price. for a quick bite to eat and a beer in the middle of the city meets the place

Connected to one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. kruste is karton. bee is tasteless unless they put the soy sauce and other flavors they give them. don't waste your money.

This place is always crowded and it's easy to see why, with prices starting from 40 pesos and generous fillings. They also make pasta, lasagne, tortas.
