This isn’t my first visit to El Templo in Mejorada and it won’t be my last. Not only was the food excellent and authentic, the owner/chef and his wife are welcoming hosts. Did I mention the espresso was perfect? If you want to try a friendly restaurant a short, picturesque walk from Centro, El Templo is the place.

Welcoming bar, great service, well prepared and executed mains and antojitos. Best micheladas in town. Now, to the wings. I from Western New York, so it's safe to say that I know a good wing when I taste one. Their recipe substitutes Valentina hot sauce for Frank's with surprisingly good results. ¡Caliente, picante, y crujiente! (Hot, spicy and crispy). Great atmosphere and clientele. What a gem.

Great place! The atmosphere is really cool We loved the food, prices and the staff was wonderful! They were very helpful and there when we needed anything. Great place we will definitely return.

What a terrific rest-bar, with friendly staff, a funky artistic atmosphere, and really good reasonably priced food. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast of oat and banana waffles, and french toast with bacon, both accompanied by fresh watermelon and papaya. The American style coffee was delicious, as was the Moka frappë. Looking at the lunch menu, we’re planning a return visit!
