The food was excellent and I was not glutened! There was a language barrier and the server seemed really confused when I said I had a gluten allergy I was nervous, but they used corn for their tortilla chips. I ordered chickens and vegetables. 300 pesos guacamole with chapulines, horrible food. Sadly the calabazas rellenas tasted like perfume with all the condiments, they seemed raw and seasoned at the moment, the nopales rellenos with papas and salsa verde where a good proposal but the taste was very bad the...best of all was the boiled beans. They have a very creative menu with vegan friendly options, the place is relax and chill, it is pet friendly witch is good. But the food is not good at all, expensive for the culinary experience they offer. I would just go to grab a drink and read.

I asked about a Fajita for checking that she ordered Fajitas, but she did not seem to know what a Fajita was. I'm getting sick pretty easily with cross-contamination, but I felt good! Best meal I had in Mérida. Overall, I hadn't glued much luck in Mérida, even with the lack of labels and language barrier!
Eating here was a great experience! The service was friendly and the staff was knowledgeable about gluten-free menu items. We had the Fajitas and the fresh tortillas were delicious. We asked about the Enchiladas and we said they were also gluten-free. There were several options for gluten-free deserts, many of which were vegan. The ambience was beautiful, with a cozy outdoor seating area and a small bookshop inside.
This is a very simple place but really welcoming and peaceful. There is a little book store at the entrance and tables inside and outside in a cute garden. The food was really good! We ordered the stuffed zucchini, it comes with rice and beans and I loved it. My husband had the nopal and potato enchiladas with red sauce and my daughter had the mushroom and potato enchiladas with green sauce. Delicious. They were knowledgeable about gluten items and dairy as well. The pricing was great, you are two blocks from Paseo Montejo.
The food was excellent and I didn’t get glutened! There was a language barrier and the server seemed really confused when I said I had a gluten allergy which I was nervous about but they used corn for their tortilla chips. I ordered chicken and vegetables. I asked about a fajita because of the review that said they ordered fajitas but she didn’t seem to know what a fajita was. I get sick pretty easily with cross contamination but I felt fine! Best meal I had in Mérida. Overall I had good luck not getting glutened in Mérida even with the lack of labels and language barrier!
