Went to South Leagues club in Merewether on Friday lunch time. Hadn't been there for over 20 years but the food was wonderful. They have food from different cultures although their main fare is Chinese. Unlike most Chinese meals, there was not a low meat to vegetable ratio. We had lamb and cashews and combination chow mien. Mainly a Chinese restaurant, with western meals as well. I ordered the steak, u add all your own vegetables from the Bain Marie. The steak was large covered the whole plate, but it was very thin, wasn't very good as it was fatty and very chewy, couldn't eat it all. I in no rush to return. View all feedback.
This restaurant is a great place to enjoy a meal, catch a live show, or try your luck at the slot machines. The venue is fantastic, clean, and cozy.
This restaurant is always a fantastic choice for special occasions or a relaxing drink with loved ones. The staff are incredibly polite, courteous, and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The menu by new caterer Tony Tam offers a fantastic selection of dishes. I am excited for the upcoming Outdoor Dining Area and the brand new Kids Play Area. I highly recommend trying the South Leagues experience - you will definitely want to come back again and again.
The young man at the reception desk was always very helpful! And the member prices were very affordable, definitely worth it!
