The meals were bland, made with low-quality vegetables yet priced very high. It's no wonder the restaurant was empty. I definitely won't be returning. :(

My son ordered a steak for $26 an... read more We went for dinner at a restaurant with a new chef. The food was very mediocre, typical pub/club fare but at expensive prices. My son ordered a steak for $26 and asked for it to be rare. Unfortunately, it came out well done and was only about 1mm thick. He complained and they offered him a free dessert, but he declined because he doesn't eat dessert. Overall, the other meals were average but also overpriced.

The food is outstanding, with a mix of classic club dishes and delicious specials with modern flavors. The addition of yum cha on weekends is a great touch. The quality of the food and the ambiance make for a wonderful dining experience.

We were all a bit dis... read more We arrived at Merewether Bowling Club tonight for our get together.....8 of us....to find that their usual restaurant was no longer there. We were all a bit disappointed as we really liked the previous restaurant.We ordered linguine, salmon, lamb back strap and the best chicken schnitzel I have ever had the pleasure to taste! Everybody was happy with their meal so.....let's try the desserts! 3 of us had the apple rhubarb crumble (once again best ever!) a couple had the lemon lime tart and said it was delicious!Highly recommend Patray's....service was great....drinks at club prices as well....we will definitely be back!
