What Lore Thiel likes about Tokyo Don:
The restaurant is very clean and well-maintained. The food is very authentic and the service is fast and friendly. I noticed that the amount of food you pay for is slightly less than at other places that I have been to but the difference is not that significant. I paid $9.50 or so for some sweet and sour chicken and chow mein. The variety of entrees they offer is quite large, in my opinion, so if you are looking to e... View all feedback. What Teseo Marini doesn't like about Tokyo Don:
I ordered Mongolian beef and got 99% onions and 5 pieces of beef. We also ordered shrimp fried rice and the entree had 5 small shrimp. Apparently it’s their standard. Lesson learned and never ordering from this place again. They should consider renaming the dish to Mongolian onions. If there was an option to give 0 stars that’s what it should be. read moreOverall, reviews for the restaurant were mixed. Some customers were highly disappointed with the quality of the food, citing bland flavors, lack of meat, and strange tastes. One customer even compared the food to a .25 cent cup of ramen noodles. However, there were a couple of positive comments noting the cleanliness of the restaurant, authenticity of the food, and friendly service. One loyal customer even recommended the veggie chow mein and orange chicken, highlighting the restaurant as their favorite since high school. Despite the negative feedback, it seems that the restaurant has its dedicated fans and offers a variety of traditional Chinese dishes for those seeking an authentic dining experience.
