Richwood Meat - Merced

We picked up a truckload of meat to take to Oregon, and every single employee we encountered was fantastic. It's not often we experience such great service anymore. This really speaks volumes about the people who run this company. They've cultivated a team of wonderful, respectful, and kind employees, and it's clear that the company fosters a family-like atmosphere.

The frozen and refrigerated meats here are absolutely delicious. I haven't tried the prepared dishes yet, but I'm confident they'll be just as delightful.

The samples were fantastic! I ended up getting an extra tri-tip after trying the teriyaki-seasoned meat. I usually go for the garlic and wine flavors, but since I was doing a tasting today, I tried both. It's a shame that free sample Saturday has come to an end!

I 'd give more stars if they would have taken me the day before and if they would have returned my phone inquiry. I had a 8 a.m. appointment this morning Sunday but so did another driver coming from the same place I came from. Appears that they start at 07:00. They took me before 8 and got me unloaded in 20 minutes. That 's like lightning fast for my experience. Be very careful and slow backing into the dock.
