El Asadero Taco Shop - Merced

The food is great. I usually get the California burrito or asada fries.The only reason i give 4 stars is because of the customer service. Most of the people who work there are really cool but the girl that’s usually at the register always has this attitude and doesn’t make the experience too friendly at all.

This place was really good. recommended 100% this is truly authentic Mexican food and the burritos are with soft hand made flour tortillas that they can say they are not buying tortillas. the service is super fast and efficient. I'm sure it's coming back!

I live in S Carolina and was working in Merced for a few days, and we were looking for a place for a coworker and I to grab lunch close by. I set my phone to search for top rated and this was one of the first. We were not disappointed. It was actually so good we went back the next day. I saw a few bad reviews and know sometimes things happen, but my experience with this establishment (2 days in a row) led me to give a nice 5 star review. The food tasted great, Chili Verde was awesome, the sides were great too. The roasted salsa on the salsa bar was my favorite but I tried them all and they were good too. Different days, different cashiers each time, both were extremely courteous!

Other than not being able to call in our order because the phone just rang and rang everything was amazing! I came in and ordered an enchilada plate, a chimichanga plate and a quesidilla. They filled the order quickly and the food was wonderful! They always give generous amounts of food and it all tastes so fresh.

I honestly LOVE their asada fries. Forgot to take the before I ate pic so my plate is empty but trust brah it's da bombdiggity!
