The duck breast was wonderful, and the homemade tarte tatin was divine! If you're not looking for anything flashy, if you want to avoid tourist traps, and if you appreciate cuisine made with high-quality, flavorful ingredients, Carnival is the place for you. Everything was perfect, the service impeccable and very friendly. In short, an excellent experience that we highly recommend.

The spaghetti... read more A decent Italian restaurant on the quayside in Menton. We had oysters as a starter, which were fine. The steak au poivre was tender and flavorful. The spaghetti with crabmeat was good, though it could have been seasoned a bit more. Annoyingly, the wine wasn't cold, and while the waiter did chill it briefly, he didn't seem to care otherwise. So, overall, it was okay, but I wouldn't necessarily return.
