Between us we had hake, duck,... read more Family of 4 adults visited on good Friday and not disappointed. Food is fresh, delicious and modern, and the service is excellent. Between us we had hake, duck, lamb and beef then yummy puddings and cheese. Only slight niggle is that the young waitress didn't know the cheeses though my partner (who knows about such things) assured me the quality was high. With drinks and some coffee the price of £123 was excellent value and we will definitely return and recommend to anyone.

The ribeye steak was one of the best I've eaten the chef know how to do a proper rare one.Overall this is a great country pub with really nice staff for whom nothing's too much trouble. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with, in number 4 at least, a decent ensuite bath. Will definitely use the pub again next time I need to stay in this area.

A traditional Italian dish that originates from the Umbrian region of Italy. Porchetta consists of a whole sucking pig which is boned and stuffed with Italian herbs.
