my buddy and I are “serious” Ale-Drinker and Vor-Covid have been visiting for years. this visit was a disappointment! bad choice of butcombe ales and the quality was bad. that was a surprise. my Ponsh Fish Chip Lunch...was ok but not specifically View all feedback. What User likes about The Cross Keys Inn:
my friend and I have fallen as a little pleasure in the cross keys to celebrate the last day of the grasp. the wee was beautiful and although we had missed the lunch slot, the people who run the pub offered to eat anyway! we shared some delicious, southern fried halloumi and chips that I would definitely recommend to visit everyone. we will definitely come back! read moreNestled in the heart of a picturesque village, The Cross Keys is a quintessential country pub that offers a charming ambiance with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Guests have praised its exceptional food quality and diverse menu, featuring delightful dishes from hearty roasts to inventive desserts, particularly the homemade ice cream. While service is generally commendable, there have been instances of delays, particularly on busy days. Despite some inconsistencies, patrons appreciate the spacious layout, friendly staff, and a well-curated selection of ales, making this a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. Overall, The Cross Keys promises an enjoyable dining experience.
