The chicken was dripping in grease an... read more Without doubt the worst fast food meal I've ever experienced. I stuck with what they do best chicken (3 pieces) and chips. The chicken was dripping in grease and not crispy at all, ridiculously over salted and had clearly been broiling under the heat lamps for hours. The chips were overcooked to the point that they were dark brown in colour, yet they were soggy and limp. I ate one piece of chicken and was trying to eat a second when piece one came up again. For the love of god, do not go here. It hurts to have to give 1 star, but I'll justify it to myself by saying that was for the bottle of water thar made it a meal deal. Rank.

Well, the team member who served us was very nice but they didn 't have any soft drink... read more Having not had a KFC for over a year, we just fancied one drove to Frome. Well, the team member who served us was very nice but they didn 't have any soft drinks as the machine wasn 't working. We could hear staff messing around in the back, very unprofessional. We were then given our food it wasn 't very warm, my chips were cold soggy. I should 've taken my whole meal back but a look from hubby said it all. There was only a few salt sachets out, no sugar, no stirrers, 2 wet wipes, a few paper tissues, it was awful. The tables weren 't very clean, neither was the floor. Then Slow Norris came round with the brush attempted to clean the floor of old chips bits of food. Very painful to watch, I felt like showing him how it was done. He didn 't attempt to wipe the salt bits from the tables. So whilst Mr Im not interested in my job tried to sweep badly, a few people came in for takeaways or went to the drive thru all you could hear was staff messing about behind the scenes. All in all, this was very poor, from the young staff to the grubby tables to the lukewarm food. This restaurant needs someone to go in sort the staff out as they look scruffy are unprofessional. We won 't be returning anytime soon.

When they saw us heading towards the door, they all ushered inside towards the kitchen. (NO handwashing happened) When inside, we noticed 1 member of staff (Abigail) working her ass off, carrying the rest of the staffs workload. We headed to the toilets, which had just been cleaned and Abigail kindly pre warned us of the wet floor. Abigail talked us through meals, until we made our minds up and was pleasant throughout. However, when we were eating, we could clearly hear the other 3 members of staff 'messing around ', shouting and being unprofessional. Abigail, spoke to them and reminded them that they were indeed at work and for them to 'pack it in. ' Abigail remained professional and continued to clear, clean and sweep the restaurant, whilst the other staff members continued to be at high volume. Reading the rest of KFC Frome reviews, I highly recommend something is put into place, to gain custom.

I've noticed this take it or leave it at several KFC's recently, so whilst I ordered the first meal, I went to McDonalds for the second and the McSpicy was great. I am going to give KFC a miss for a few months and will try once more
