Sammys Ye Old Cider Mill - MENDHAM

Sammy’s has been a family favorite for years. My husband and I hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Sammy’s. We now live in England but it is a first stop when we are back. We can say with confidence that they serve the best chips aka French fries in the world. All of their food is great as is the overall experience. The shrimp scampi is particularly special.

It’s great. Been coming for years. It hosted my parent’s wedding reception. Drinks are good. Food is excellent, my personal favourite is the shrimp scampi and the fries. Parking: Parking lot next to the restaurant Kid-friendliness: Has a mini arcade downstairs

Me and my friends came here for dinner and they’ve been there before it’s kind of like a hole in the wall type of place anyway we had dinner and there was water from the air ducts. there was condensation dripping on our food…. dripping all over our heads and apparently it happened before we had heard from other people around us. it happened again tonight it was my first time being there. I spoke to the waitress twice. She said oh I’ll speak to my manager so we left None of our money came off the bill and then I called the restaurant personally and I told the manager and she said she’ll speak to her brothers. I don’t think anything is gonna get done about this. The atmosphere is obviously disgusting.I Will not be coming back here. It was really bad.

Exceptional food, service and we had alot of fun. Already looking forward to going back.

Sammy’s Ye Old Cider Mill is a delightful hidden gem in NJ, offering a unique dining experience. You order your meal upstairs and can enjoy drinks at the downstairs bar while you wait. Once your food is ready, they call you back upstairs to be seated at your table. I rate this place 4 out of 5 stars, primarily because the fries I received seemed like they were from the bottom of the bag—short and less fresh. Despite this, the overall quality and value of the food make it well worth a visit.
