Tops -b-q Summer/national - Memphis

Longest running BBQ chain in Memphis. Great smoky Q, generally chopped on the fine side. Go somewhere else if you like sweet ketchupy sauce, but I love the vinegary tang of Tops, hot or mild. Their fine chopped Q and slaw make a good sandwich that you don't pull half of it out when you take a bite.

Pretty good food, my only complaint is burgers patties are getting smaller and drier and sometimes burnt. Love the pork shoulder.

Everyone was friendly and extra thoughtful. I placed a large online order that had several orders of nachos. They waited for me to get there to make them so the chips wouldn't be soggy. It didn't take long for them to make it all up and was well worth it.

Cory worked the trip at night my family and I came to dinner. Cory was extremely professional, courtesy, efficient and offers excellent customer service. I'm not sure who the manager might be from this place, but I ask that Cory be given an increase and promotion. It gives this brand a great representation of the service. It's really hard to find outstanding workers today.
