We came here with our two 6 year olds and really enjoyed the experience. I wouldn't call it a family restaurant (there is no kids menu and there weren't really other kids in the restaurant), but we didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Even without a kids menu, there were plenty of affordable options for the kids. They had edamame, tempura vegetables, and steamed rice and they loved it all. My husband and I had sushi which was really delicious. Service was attentive and fast despite it being busy. We will definitely be back!

SPR is one of my Memphis staples. I have been coming here for over a decade, and their food and service are consistently good. Don't miss the house salad with crab, signature sushis, and the chocolate creme brulee with matcha. Now that I'm an adult (yes, I've been eating here that long), I can recommend their hot house sake! No flavor needed, although I'm sure the additions are really good.Their clear soup sustained me for multiple oral surgeries many years ago. I came a couple weeks ago and was elated to find that everything is even better than I remember. The vibes are great, the servers are top-notch, and everything is fresh. Don't skip them! It is different than the other local Sekisuis.Vegetarian options: Peanut avocado roll is a 10/10 veg option, and there are oodles of other things too. You won't get stuck with a salad (although that's good too)!Kid-friendliness: Has a good kid's menu, although the vibe is really more adult-oriented.Parking: Lots of spots close to the restaurant, though they're tight.
