What User doesn't like about Saltwater Crab:
Food was underwhelming and not many great choices for dinner. Which I could have ordered from the lunch menu. Service wasn’t great either. It was my moms birthday. We had gifts and I even mentioned it when I reserved the table for 10. The waitress didn’t even ask if it was anyone’s birthday. I rarely even saw our waitress. Not a great experience at all. Would not come back here. View all feedback.
The waiter was fast and consistent. The spinach dip was a little too 'mayo ' tasting for our palates, but ok to share amongst a group. The boil bags were seasoned exceptionally and came with 'baguette ' styled slices as an accompaniment. It wasn 't crowded, but it was extremely loud in there. So this may not be best for an intimate date night...trying the sushi on my next visit!Update 6/23 waited 45mins no sever, no acknowledgment UNTIL we were walking g out of the door.Wonder what happened to the 2 couples that came in after us...We went to Red Hook on Union. Ambiance was WAY BETTER, It 's currently 1012P and we 've been served, seen our server 4x, and are almost done.
This is a great spot for dinner! Although parking is limited, the extensive menu offers a wide variety of options, including sushi, boiled seafood, and more. We started with the seafood dip, which is a delicious mayo-based dish with the perfect amount of spice, served with tortilla chips. For our main course, we enjoyed a volcano roll and some spicy boiled snow crab. Everything was fantastic, and our server was very helpful and gracious. The prices are reasonable for such a popular area. You really can't go wrong here!
I had a pleasant experience on my first visit here. We dined on the covered patio, which was both tidy and enjoyable. The staff was courteous, and our waitress was friendly, providing helpful recommendations on what to order. I opted for the crab boil, and it was seasoned perfectly.
This was my first visit to this restaurant, which was recommended by a coworker. My friend and I decided to check it out. We were welcomed as soon as we entered and seated in the patio area to enjoy the pleasant weather. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu. I took a moment to choose between the lamb chops and the seafood boil, ultimately opting for the boil. It arrived piping hot, and the sauce was deliciously flavorful. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to come back to try the lamb chops.
Fried Brussel sprouts are the BOMB!!! Fried rice is okay... green tomatoes weren't bad either! Drink specials are pretty good, too! Service wasn't spot on, as in reminding for refills but I will say everyone pitches in to help!
