Overstuffed Deli - Memphis
Overstuffed Deli
Description
**Overstuffed Deli: A Disappointing First Impression**
Overstuffed Deli fails to deliver on its promise of hearty, satisfying meals. Diners report receiving improperly prepared sandwiches, often hot instead of cold as requested, and inadequate portions of ingredients, particularly in the pastrami and Swiss sandwich. Sides like potato salad disappoint, while substitutions, such as chips, exacerbate the lack of attentiveness to customers' orders. The gyros are criticized for lacking sufficient meat, raising questions about the establishment's commitment to quality. Additionally, a questionable fee for credit transactions under $20 adds to the experience's negativity. Overall, this deli misses the mark on making a lasting impression.

I tried Overstuffed Deli today, I ordered the Pastrami and Swiss with chips and a drink. The flavor was fine but the volume of pastrami and swiss cheese on my sandwich was minuscule at best. In many cases, especially with new restaurants you have toembellish to lock in your customer base. It 's a necessary evil because we all know, 'You only get one chance at a firstimpression '. My first impression was not a good one so I will not be back.
I didn't specifically request whether my sandwich should be hot or cold, but I prefer it cold. Instead of bringing out the sandwich I ordered, they only brought a bag of chips. The potato salad was not good, and the portions were quite small. While the gyros had a generous amount of meat, they were lacking in flavor, especially considering the name. Additionally, they charge a fee of 35 cents for credit transactions under $20, which is illegal.
I went to Overstuffed Deli today and ordered a pastrami and Swiss sandwich, along with chips and a drink. While the flavors were enjoyable, I was let down by the small portions of pastrami and Swiss cheese on my sandwich. For new restaurants, making a strong first impression is crucial to retaining customers. Sadly, my experience was not a positive one, so I won't be coming back.
The service was disappointing since they didn’t ask if I wanted my sandwich hot or cold, resulting in a hot sandwich when I actually prefer it cold. They also forgot my side order and just brought a bag of chips instead. The potato salad was low quality, and the portions were quite small. The gyros were underwhelming, with very little meat—hardly deserving of the name "overstuffed." Additionally, they charge an extra $0.35 for credit card payments under $20, which seems questionable.
I stopped by Overstuffed Deli today and ordered the Pastrami and Swiss sandwich with chips and a drink. The taste was okay, but I was disappointed by the small portion of pastrami and Swiss cheese on the sandwich. When trying out new places, a strong first impression is important, and unfortunately, this visit didn’t meet my expectations. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to Overstuffed Deli.
